IoTCenter Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 6, 2026
1. Overview
IoTCenter is a mobile application for configuring and controlling IoT devices through HTTP and MQTT connections. This policy explains how the application handles data.
2. Data Stored on Your Device
IoTCenter stores the following information locally on your device:
- Profile, server, and widget configuration.
- Device URLs, local-network addresses, request paths, and application settings.
- Credentials and tokens entered by you, stored using your device's secure storage.
3. Network Communications
IoTCenter communicates only with HTTP endpoints and MQTT brokers that you explicitly configure. Information returned by those devices is used to display and control widgets within the application.
4. Data Collection and Sharing
IoTCenter does not operate a backend service and does not collect, sell, or share your personal data with the developer or third parties. Network communications occur only between the application and IoT devices or services selected by you.
5. Data Security
Credentials and tokens are stored using device secure storage. You are responsible for securing the devices, networks, HTTP endpoints, and MQTT brokers that you configure.
6. Data Retention and Deletion
Application data remains on your device until you delete profiles, servers, or widgets, or uninstall IoTCenter. Uninstalling the application removes its local application data according to your device's operating-system behavior.
7. Children's Privacy
IoTCenter is not directed at children.
8. Changes to This Policy
